Freedom Korea - Introduction

There is nobody in this universe who can exist exactly the same way as others. Their history, language, habit, education, experiences and such and so on can be influenced to make all kinds of differences. Same can be said with different countries. As there are many countries with different histories and cultures tend to see many things all differently, South Korea and their people also has their own way of seeing value of life. And as an Asian culture, they are particularly well divided from Western cultures, regardless of how much South Korea has recently adapted into Western culture.
One of the significant difference is the way South Korean see the value of 'Freedom'. Everyone in the Western culture appreciates this idea greatly, especially United States, and they understand the value of it with their own lessons of so much sacrifices and conflicts in their history, so comes the wisdom to use it wisely as they can or necessarily.
Korea, however, never claimed their proper opportunity to learn their lesson to take it to their own side.

This 'Freedom Korea' is all there is I can think of about how Korean think about freedom and why has it happened. Posts are divided into 5 pieces, 2 of them dealing with historical references and 3 of them about how it is today mostly from people that I've talked to.
Each posts will be updated separately. So be sure to check back on it if you are interested.
